The rising cost of prescription drugs affects millions of Americans, with nearly 30% of adults forced to ration or skip their medications due to costs. These high drug prices not only force families to make impossible choices between lifesaving medications and basic necessities like groceries and rent, but also drive up health insurance premiums, slowing wage growth and straining family budgets.
